How It started

The idea of starting Treasures & Trinkets grew out my love of things of old and the need to occupy myself with something worthwhile so when I inherited a small collection of antiques, along with the need to know where they came from, my interest as a hobbyist began to evolve .

The history behind a piece is more important than the value for me - I find it completely enthralling to think of where items come from, where they might so far have traveled to and who may have touched them over the decades and centuries of their existence and far from last, the artisan who lovingly created these Treasures.
